CRAGEN is Small World Theatre’s new mythological puppet monster which is set to appear along Wales’ coastline in Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Isle of Anglesey and Conwy during the Year of the Sea.
Cragen is said to dwell off the coast of Wales and she will appear along the coastline at 10 locations during the summer with an important clean seas message.
The first appearance was at Aberporth on July 20, when the 20 metre long Cragen came in from the sea to the beach. Visitors and communities watched as she returned unwanted plastic waste from the sea to the land.
The next appearance in Ceredigion is scheduled for 12th August in Aberystwyth at the Sea2Shore Festival. Follow Cragen’s travels online https://cleanseascragen.wales/
